| Sewall’s Point is a Tree City and as such has a strict habitat management ordinance. A permit is required for removal or relocation of any tree having a caliper diameter of 1" or more. Permit fees are nominal, however, penalties for failure to obtain a permit are severe. | |

| VACANT HOUSES: | |
| Residents leaving their homes unoccupied for any period of time may wish to advise the Sewall’s Point Police Department (781-3378). By doing so, they are assured of regular police checks during their absence. | |
| CONSTRUCTION HOURS AND UNNECESSARY NOISE: | |
| Construction work is limited to the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Saturday. No such work is permitted on Sunday. Homeowners are expected to avoid disturbing noises after 5:00 P.M. and all day on Sunday. | |
| TOWN MEETINGS: | |
| The Sewall’s Point Town Commission meets twice a month: on the first Tuesday (workshop meeting) and on the third Tuesday (regular meeting). All meetings are held at the Town Hall and begin at 7:00 PM. The public is cordially invited to attend and encouraged to participate. | |
